The perils of scheduling

On the one hand, going two-weeks-plus without a day off from physical activity (power yoga or massaging or both) was probably not the greatest idea that I've had. It would certainly explain why my quick nap a few days ago turned into a four-hour rest, as well as why, come Saturday, I woke up after a full night's sleep and an hour later wanted desperately to go back to bed. (I cancelled my yoga plans and instead booked myself a massage, and am consequently feeling much better today.)
On the other hand, just now I took a moment to really look at my arms in the mirror, and...damn. Maybe I should go on workout benders more often.

But yeah, given the ridiculous security lines we've been seeing this summer (which has nothing at all to do with the Secret Service pulling TSA agents to work political rallies, cough), plus the fact that it takes at least forty minutes to get into town, that's cutting it awfully close. Is there any chance you could change it up to an overnight? Then you could at least come out here and get some rest (and snuggle some adorable kitties into the bargain).

On the physical activity side, I noticed last Wednesday how much of a difference even short breaks make. We finished off fencing with what I can only describe as "a stamina session", where I fenced completely without breaks for, um, 10-12 minutes and it was surprisingly tiring (normally, we do 5-6 minutes, short break with some chatting, then another 5-6 minutes, repeat until roughly 2 hours have passed).
