It's Only A Paper Rose

I'm really having a crappy day today. Not for any particular solid reason (or group of reasons)...mostly I'm just feeling very frustrated with everything in general. I'm frustrated with my car because the door was having problems closing and it took me ten minutes of standing out in the cold to figure out how to shut it (this on top of the no-rear-windshield thing). I'm frustrated with my scene partner in acting because he obviously spent almost no time at all on the scene we're supposed to do other than when we met a couple of times, and made me look stupid. I'm frustrated with myself because I didn't have it as well memorized as I thought, and I was getting absolutely no help from said scene partner. I'm frustrated with my acting teachers because our first acting teacher had a much more informal environment so far as paperwork and the like went, and it took me some time to get used to that, and suddenly our new acting teacher is really big on "coursework" as opposed to the whole "acting" bit that I thought we were there for. I'm frustrated with the whole class because it's going to be taking up so much of my time and I don't want to spend all of that time away from my friends/boyfriend/life in general. I'm frustrated with the fact that I can't drop that class and still live in the dorms, since it's five of my current 12 credits. I'm frustrated with the fact that I've been broke off my ass for the past month and if I want to have enough money for an apartment deposit/rent at the end of the semester that isn't going to be changing anytime soon. I'm frustrated with the fact that Juneau-Brian has to pay so much of the time when we go out because I only have a crappy $7.75 an hour job for 17 hours a week. I'm frustrated with the fact that the career I want is going to take up so much of my time. I'm frustrated that I can't get a full-time job because I have classes. I'm so very, very frustrated with people who DO NOT KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP. I'm frustrated with people who use "like" out of context every third word. I'm frustrated with the fact that I have a paper to write this weekend and I don't know if I'm going to have the patience to sit down and do it. I'm frustrated with my life in general.

...wow, that's quite a list.

Okay, let me see if I can think of ten good things that happened recently. Just for the sake of balance.

1.) I finally got all the paperwork done and the woman at the state claims department said I should be getting a check reimbursing me for the cost of my rear windshield.

2.) I have a wonderful boyfriend who is making me hot chocolate to calm me down as we speak, and who got me gorgeous roses for Valentine's Day

3.) I went to see the local production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch last night, which was absolutely awesome, and it's been extended for a week, so if we can get tickets we're going to go see it next weekend too

4.) I'm finally getting a decent-sized paycheck this Friday

5.) My boyfriend's mother likes me enough that I'm not going to starve while she's around

6.) It's Valentine's Day, and for once I'm dating a hopeless romantic

7.) My wonderful boyfriend's 21st birthday is coming up this Thursday, so we'll be able to order wine the next time we go out to Doc Water's

8.) Said boyfriend has finally received most of the parts for his Prelude, and will hopefully have it up and running next month

...eh, I'll go with eight for now. That's pretty decent. If nothing else I can append it later.
